Namatovu Sumayiya is a Ugandan biochemist and the founder of Olesen Naturals. With a background in biochemistry and hands-on experience in natural formulation, she combines scientific understanding with responsibly sourced raw materials to create safe, effective, and affordable skincare.
Working in collaboration with Danish researchers, she developed formulations that meet high safety and quality standards while remaining accessible. Her work is rooted in Uganda, starting with raw, cold-pressed shea butter, and guided by a belief that women deserve real choice in how they care for their skin — without long-term harm or unaffordable pricing.
